Ciao Amici,
ho da poco scaricato ed installato mIRC.
Solo che non mi funziona il DCC. Ho provato a mandare un file a mio fratello e lui ha provato con me, ma non riusciamo a scaricare. Io ho una connessione ADSL con Firewall. Devo mappare le porte? Grazi eper l'aiuto.

troppe poche info
Firewall software? (e nel caso se un prog esterno tipo zone alarm o quello di xp?)
Firewall hardware? (un bel routerino magari ( modem router? ) )
Vab? cmq nel caso di fw fisico non ? difficile settare una porta standard
che reindirizzi su ip locale e settare mirc perch? lo accetti
Credo ci siano guide in rete... o vedi nel manualino del tuo modem
(per quanto riguarda mirc basta cambiare il range dcc credo

Il firewall ? quello di XP, con due porte "mappate" per WinMx.
Il firewall hardware non so nemmeno cosa sia.
Come ? possibile settare mirc? Dove posso trovare le guide in rete?

If you use mIRC and windows xp firewall, you have noticed that dcc send won't work. Here is how to get it working without disabling the entire firewall :
1. First you must limit the range of port that mirc use in the Dcc, Option menu. In DCC ports , set both at 1024.
2. After, go into control panel & network connections
2. Right click on your connection and select 'properties'
3. Left click the advanced tab
4. Left click the settings button
5. Under services, left click the add button
6. For description type "DCC", for Name of IP put the name that identifies your system with your ISP OR your IP if it is static.
7. Both external and internal ports are 1024 by default and TCP.
8. Click OK and restart
